Walking
If you're in the South Side area, start by heading towards Pollokshaws Road. From there, walk north until you reach the intersection with Eglinton Street. Turn left onto Eglinton Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with the River Clyde. At this point, you should be able to see Glasgow Green across the river. Walk along Eglinton Street until you reach the pedestrian crossing, then cross over to join the footpath leading directly to Glasgow Green.

Bus
From the South Side, you can take the First Bus service number 23 or 34 from Pollokshaws Road. Board the bus towards the city center and get off at the stop on Saltmarket. From there, it's a short walk to Glasgow Green. Head east on Saltmarket, and you will find the entrance to Glasgow Green at Greendyke Street. Make sure to have an exact fare ready, as bus fares vary; typically, it's around £2.50 for a single journey.

You may also take the train from the nearest station in the South Side, which is Pollokshaws West. Board a train heading towards Glasgow Central. Once you arrive at Glasgow Central, exit the station and head to the nearby Glasgow Green. Simply walk south along the riverbank, following the path that leads to Glasgow Green. Note that train tickets from Pollokshaws West to Glasgow Central are approximately £3.00 for a single journey.
