If you're driving from Leicester, take the A6 north towards Loughborough. Continue on the A6 until you reach the A607. Turn left onto the A607 and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A6006. After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto the B6047 towards Burrough on the Hill. Follow the B6047 for about 2 miles, and you'll find signs leading to Burrough Hill - Iron Age Hillfort. There is free parking available near the hillfort.

If you're using public transport, take a train from Leicester to Melton Mowbray (the journey takes around 20-30 minutes). Once you arrive at Melton Mowbray station, you can take a bus towards Oakham. Look for the bus that stops at Burrough on the Hill. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. After you get off the bus, follow the signs to Burrough Hill - Iron Age Hillfort, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are already in Burrough on the Hill village, you can easily walk to the hillfort. From the village center, head towards the signs for Burrough Hill, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill. The route is well-marked and offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
