Car
From the center of Kirkcudbright, take the A75 road heading northeast. Continue on A75 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction for the A76. Turn left onto A76 towards Thornhill. After about 5 miles, you'll see signs for Drumlanrig Castle & Gardens. Follow the signs and turn onto the B729, where you will find the entrance to the castle on your right. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a fee depending on the season.
