Getting There

    If you're driving, Aira Force Waterfall is located in Matterdale, near Penrith. From the M6 motorway, exit at junction 40 and follow the A66 towards Keswick. After about 5 miles, take the A592 exit towards Ullswater. Continue on the A592 for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Aira Force car park on your left. The car park is operated by the National Trust, and a parking fee of around £5 applies, so ensure you have some change or a card ready.

    If you prefer public transport, take a train to Penrith from major cities like Manchester or London. From Penrith railway station, you can catch the Stagecoach bus number 108 towards Patterdale.
