If you are traveling by car, head towards Windermere. From the M6 motorway, take exit 36 and follow the A591 towards Windermere. Upon reaching Windermere, continue on the A591 until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Patterdale Road. Holehird Gardens will be located on your left-hand side at the address Patterdale Road, Windermere LA23 1NP. There is parking available on site, but please check if there are any parking fees.

If you are using public transportation, take a train to Windermere Station. From the station, you can catch a local bus (the 555 or 599) towards Ambleside. Get off at the Holehird Gardens stop, which is conveniently located near the entrance to the gardens. Please check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary, especially on weekends and holidays. There is no entry fee for the gardens, but donations are appreciated.
