If you are driving, head towards Ambleside in Cumbria. Take the A591 from wherever you are in the region. Once you arrive in Ambleside, follow signs for the A593 towards Coniston. After about 2 miles, look for signs for Low Wray. Turn onto the road leading to Low Wray, and follow it until you see the National Trust - Wray entrance on your left. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around £4 for a day, which you can pay at the machine on-site.

To reach National Trust - Wray by public transport, take a train to Windermere Station, which is the nearest rail station. From Windermere, take the 599 bus towards Coniston. Inform the driver you want to get off at Low Wray. The bus will drop you near the entrance of the National Trust property. Check the current bus schedules as they may vary, and be prepared to pay the bus fare, which is usually around £3-£5.

If you are staying in Ambleside and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. From the centre of Ambleside, head towards the A593 and follow the path along the lakeshore towards Low Wray.
