After exiting, follow the signs for Rydal Mount, which will be on your left after about 0.5 miles. There is parking available on-site.

    If you are in Ambleside, take the Stagecoach bus number 555 towards Keswick. Get off at the Rydal Mount stop (Rydal, Rydal Mount) which is just a short walk from the entrance. Once you disembark, walk back towards the Rydal Mount entrance, which is located on your right after a 5-minute walk.

    If you are staying in Ambleside and prefer to walk, head south on Lake Road. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach Rydal Mount. Follow the signs for Rydal and keep an eye out for the entrance on your left. It's approximately a 1-mile walk from the center of Ambleside.
