Car
If you are traveling by car from the central areas of Lake District National Park, you can take the A591 road towards Kendal and then transition to the M6 motorway. From the M6, take exit 44 for the A7 towards Carlisle. Follow the A7 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the A595. Turn right onto the A595 and continue until you reach the B5300. Follow the B5300 along the coast, and you will arrive at the Solway Coast AONB, specifically at 47 Sycamore Rd, Maryport. The total distance is about 40 miles and could take around 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
