From Leicester city center, take the A47 towards the east and continue until you reach the A563. Merge onto the A563 and follow the signs for the M1. Take the A50 exit toward the M1: North, then merge onto the M1. Exit at junction 21 and follow the signs for the A563 towards Leicester. Continue on the A563 and follow the signs for Kirby Muxloe. Once you approach Kirby Muxloe, the castle is well-signposted. There is parking available near the castle, but please check for any parking fees at the site.

From Leicester Station, head to the bus terminal nearby and catch the Arriva Bus Service 126 towards Birstall. Get off at the 'Kirby Muxloe, The Green' stop.
