Getting There

  • Train

    From Liverpool city center, head to Liverpool Lime Street Station. Take a train to Hoylake station, which is on the West Kirby line. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hoylake station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the road, then turn right onto Meols Drive. The Royal Liverpool Golf Club will be on your left after about a 15-minute walk.

  • Bus

    From Liverpool city center, you can catch the Arriva bus number 1 or 2 from the Queen Square Bus Station. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may vary. Get off at the Hoylake stop. After you disembark, walk towards the coast on Meols Drive. The Royal Liverpool Golf Club will be on your right side after about a 10-minute walk.

    If you are staying in a hotel within Liverpool city center, you can also take a scenic walk towards the waterfront and then proceed along the coastline towards Hoylake. This will be a lengthy walk of about 5 miles, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the riverside path and enjoy the views until you reach Hoylake.
