Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center, head towards St. Ann's Square. From there, take the exit onto Cross Street and walk east until you reach the junction with the Arndale Centre. Continue straight onto Market Street, which will lead you to Piccadilly Gardens. From Piccadilly Gardens, follow the signs to the Northern Quarter by heading northeast on Piccadilly, then turn onto Oldham Street. Walk until you reach the junction with Lever Street, where you will continue straight until you reach the intersection with Great Ancoats Street. At this point, you will need to turn left onto Great Ancoats Street. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Red Bank. Here, take a right to cross over the bridge. After crossing, you will find Lincoln Grove on your left. The statue is located in the small park at the end of Lincoln Grove.

• Public Transport

  From Manchester Piccadilly Station, take the tram towards Ashton-under-Lyne. Get off at the stop 'Shudehill'. From Shudehill, walk north along Shudehill Street until you reach the junction with Great Ancoats Street. Here, turn left onto Great Ancoats Street and follow it until you reach the junction with Red Bank. Turn right onto Red Bank and walk until you see the entrance to Lincoln Grove on your left. The statue is in the park at the end of Lincoln Grove.

• Bus

  Catch a bus from any central location to the 'Shudehill Interchange'. Buses 34, 36, and 37 frequently run this route. Once you disembark at Shudehill, head towards Great Ancoats Street by walking north along Shudehill Street. Turn left onto Great Ancoats Street and continue until you reach Red Bank. Turn right onto Red Bank, and shortly after, you will find Lincoln Grove on your left. The statue is located in the small park at the end of Lincoln Grove.
