Travel Guide to St Michael's Flags & Angel Meadow Park

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Manchester Piccadilly Station, exit the station and head northwest toward the main road, London Road. Turn right onto London Road and continue walking until you reach the junction with Piccadilly Gardens. From Piccadilly Gardens, walk north towards the bus station and cross over to the other side of the road. Continue straight onto Oldham Street. Follow Oldham Street until you reach the intersection with Ancoats. Turn left onto Ancoats and continue until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Great Ancoats Street. After a short walk, turn right onto Old Mount Street. St Michael's Flags & Angel Meadow Park will be on your left.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Piccadilly Gardens, you can catch the bus number 53 or 216 towards Cheetham Hill. Get off at the stop named 'Angel Meadow'. After disembarking, walk back along the road for a short distance and turn left onto Old Mount Street. St Michael's Flags & Angel Meadow Park will be ahead on your right.

• Tram

  From Manchester Piccadilly, take the Metrolink tram towards Victoria Station. Alight at the next stop, which is Piccadilly Gardens. From there, walk north towards the bus station and cross over to the other side of the road. Continue straight onto Oldham Street, then follow the instructions as in the walking guide.

• Walking from Northern Quarter

  If you are in the Northern Quarter, head towards Stevenson Square and exit onto Oldham Street. Walk south on Oldham Street until you reach the junction with Ancoats. Turn left onto Ancoats and follow the road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Great Ancoats Street and then turn right onto Old Mount Street. St Michael's Flags & Angel Meadow Park will be on your left.
