Walking
From the Castlefield area, head east towards Deansgate. Walk along the canal path until you reach the end of the canal. Turn left onto Deansgate and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the Manchester Central Convention Complex on your right. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Victoria Street.

At the junction with Victoria Street, turn right. Manchester Cathedral will be on your left after a short distance. Look for the large, beautiful entrance and signage indicating the cathedral.

Public Transport
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a tram from Castlefield. Head to the nearest tram stop, which is located on Deansgate. Board a tram heading towards Piccadilly Gardens. Disembark at the St. Peter's Square stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk: head east on St. Peter's Square towards the Central Library, then turn left onto Princess Street, and finally turn right onto Victoria Street to arrive at Manchester Cathedral.
