If you're in Salford Quays, a pleasant walk to IWM North is a great option. Start at the Salford Quays tram stop. Head east on the waterfront path, following signs for the Lowry Theatre. Continue along the path until you reach the end of the quay, which will lead you into a large open space known as the Quays. From here, follow signs towards IWM North. The museum is located at Trafford Wharf Road, approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the tram stop.

To take the tram, board a tram at the MediaCityUK stop heading towards Altrincham or Eccles. Get off at the next stop, which is the Harbour City stop. From there, it’s just a short walk. Exit the tram and turn right onto Trafford Road. Continue straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach IWM North. The tram fare is approximately £2.50 for a single journey.

You can also take a bus to reach IWM North. Look for bus services such as the 50 or 250 that run from Salford Quays to Trafford Park.
