If you are driving, head towards Monmouth town center. From the A40, take the exit towards Monmouth. Continue onto Monnow Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the B4293 (also known as St. James Street) which leads straight into Castle Hill. Monmouth Castle will be on your left. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be sure to check for any parking restrictions.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Monmouth. The main bus service in the area is provided by Stagecoach and you can catch buses from nearby towns like Abergavenny or Chepstow. Once you arrive at the Monmouth bus station, it is a short walk to Castle Hill. Exit the bus station and turn left onto Monnow Street, then take a right on St. James Street which leads you directly to Castle Hill. Monmouth Castle will be on your left.

If you are coming by train, the nearest train station is at Abergavenny. From Abergavenny station, take a bus towards Monmouth or hire a taxi for a more direct route. If you choose to walk, it is approximately a 6-mile walk to Monmouth. Once you arrive in Monmouth, head to the town center and follow Monnow Street to Castle Hill. Monmouth Castle will be located on your left.
