Metro
Start at Newcastle Central Station. Purchase a ticket for Tynemouth on the Tyne and Wear Metro. Board the Metro train heading towards South Shields. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at Tynemouth Station. Exit the station and turn left onto the main street, Front Street. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will find a pathway leading to the beach and Tynemouth Priory and Castle.
