Start your journey at Nottingham's main bus station, located at Broadmarsh. Take the 'Green Line' bus service (number 89) towards Bestwood Village. The bus should arrive every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, until you reach the 'Bestwood Park' stop. From there, you will see signage directing you towards Bestwood Country Park. Simply follow the signs, and you will reach the park entrance in about a 10-minute walk.

If you're feeling adventurous and would like to walk, you can take a scenic route from the city center. Start at the Old Market Square and head northeast towards the Forest Recreation Ground. Continue straight through the park until you reach the A60. Cross the road and continue onto Bestwood Road. Follow Bestwood Road until you reach Park Road. Bestwood Country Park will be located on your left-hand side. This walk will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, covering around 3 miles.

For cyclists, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing programs in Nottingham. Start from the city center and head towards the River Leen. Follow the cycle path along the river, which will lead you to the outskirts of Bestwood Village. Once you reach the village, follow the signs to Bestwood Country Park. The cycle ride will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending on your pace.
