From Nottingham, take the A60 north towards Mansfield. Continue on the A60 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with the A617. Merge onto the A617 and follow it until you reach the A614. Turn left onto the A614 and drive for about 4 miles. After that, turn right onto the A617 towards Newark. Follow the A617 for about 5 miles until you reach Kirklington. The Dukes Wood Nature Reserve and Oil Museum will be on your left at Kirklington, Newark NG22 8PA. Look for signs indicating the reserve as you approach.
