If you're driving from Southend-on-Sea to Charing Cross Station, start by heading west on the A127 toward the M25. Merge onto the M25 and follow the signs for London. Once on the M25, take the exit for the A3, continuing toward Central London. Follow signs for the A4 and then the Strand. Charing Cross Station will be on your left, located at Strand, London WC2N 5HF. Be mindful of potential congestion charges in Central London; check the Transport for London website for current rates.

To reach Charing Cross Station via public transportation, head to Southend Central Railway Station. From there, take a train on the c2c line towards London Fenchurch Street. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Fenchurch Street, exit the station and walk to Tower Hill Underground Station. Take the District or Circle Line towards Edgware Road and ride for three stops until you reach Westminster Station. Here, transfer to the Jubilee Line towards Stanmore, and get off at London Bridge. From London Bridge, take the Northern Line towards Charing Cross. The journey should take around 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Charing Cross, exit the station onto the Strand, and you will find the main entrance to the station.
