If you're traveling by car, start from the centre of Great Yarmouth. Head north on the A12, following signs for Ludham. After approximately 6 miles, take the exit onto the A1062 towards Ludham. Continue on the A1062 for about 2 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto How Hill Road. Follow this road for about 1 mile, and you will find Toad Hole Cottage Museum on your left. There is parking available on-site, but be aware that parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Toad Hole Cottage Museum using public transport, take a train from Norwich to Great Yarmouth. Upon arriving at Great Yarmouth station, transfer to the local bus service (such as the X1 or 5) towards Ludham. Get off the bus at the stop near the How Hill Road junction. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the museum. Follow How Hill Road directly, and you will see the museum on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.

This route is scenic and offers a lovely view of the Broads.

If you're already in Ludham and prefer to walk, you can reach Toad Hole Cottage Museum by taking a tranquil walk from the village. Head west on the A1062 for about 1 mile. After reaching the How Hill Road junction, turn left and continue walking for another mile. The museum will be on your left. This route allows you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of The Broads, but be sure to wear suitable walking shoes.
