Walking
If you are staying in the central area of Whitby, you can easily walk to the Whitby Marine Discovery Centre & Whitby Lobster Hatchery. From the main shopping street (Church Street), head towards the harbour. Once you reach the waterfront, turn right onto Pier Road. Follow Pier Road for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Marine Discovery Centre on your left at Pier Rd, Whitby YO21 3PU. It's a pleasant stroll with views of the harbour.
