Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Windsor, head towards Windsor & Eton Central train station. Once you reach the station, take the train to London Paddington. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Paddington, follow the signs to the London Underground and take the Bakerloo line (brown line) towards Elephant & Castle. After one stop, get off at Oxford Circus and transfer to the Central line (red line) towards Liverpool Street. Travel for three stops and get off at Holborn. Here, transfer to the Piccadilly line (dark blue line) towards Cockfosters. Continue on this line for six stops until you reach South Kensington station. Exit the station and walk south on Exhibition Road for about 5 minutes to reach the Science Museum.

  • Bus

    From Windsor, head to Windsor Theatre Royal bus stop. Take the Green Line 702 bus towards London Victoria. This bus will take you directly to Victoria Coach Station in London. From there, you can catch the Underground by taking the Victoria line (light blue line) towards Walthamstow Central. Change at Green Park station for the Piccadilly line (dark blue line) towards Cockfosters. Travel on the Piccadilly line for 4 stops and get off at South Kensington station. After exiting the station, walk south on Exhibition Road for about 5 minutes to reach the Science Museum.

    Make your way to Windsor & Eton Central train station. Purchase a ticket to London Paddington. The train journey will take about 30 minutes.
