Walking
If you are in Windsor town centre, head towards Windsor Castle, which is a prominent landmark. From the castle, walk along Castle Hill towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and continue walking along the Thames Path. This scenic route will take you past the beautiful riverside views. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the footbridge leading to Eton. Cross the bridge, and then continue straight along Eton High Street. Follow the road as it curves slightly left and leads you towards the Eton College area. Montagu Square is located on the right-hand side of the street after you pass the college's main entrance.

Start at Windsor & Eton Central railway station. Take a train towards London Waterloo. After about 30 minutes, get off at Paddington Station.
