Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Fuente del Toro from central Piriápolis, head south on Avenida Artigas towards the coastline. Continue straight to merge onto Ruta 10. After approximately 2 kilometers, take the exit toward Camino a la Fuente del Toro. Follow the signs for Fuente del Toro, which will lead you through scenic routes. The parking area is available near the entrance. Make sure to check the opening hours before your visit, as the park closes at 5:45 PM.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, start by taking a local bus from the main terminal in Piriápolis. Look for buses heading towards 'Punta del Este' or 'Fuente del Toro.' The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the closest stop to Fuente del Toro, which is well-marked. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the park entrance. It's advisable to ask the bus driver for the correct stop to ensure you don’t miss it.

• Walking

  If you are already in a nearby area and wish to walk to Fuente del Toro, head towards Mario Moreno street. Follow this route as it leads directly to the entrance of the park. The walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature, taking approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your starting point. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven in some areas.
