If you are driving, make your way to the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. From the visitor center, head south on the Grand View Point Road for approximately 12 miles until you reach the end of the road. Here, you will find the Grand View Point overlook. From there, you can continue eastward back to UT-191. Take a left onto UT-191 heading south for about 5 miles. Look for a sign indicating 'Canyon Rims Recreation Area' on your left. Follow the road for a few miles until you reach the entrance to the Recreation Area.
