Walking
From the center of Escalante, head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Highway 12. Turn left (east) and continue walking on the sidewalk. You should pass the Escalante Community Center on your right. Keep walking until you reach the entrance of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Once there, you can either ask a ranger for directions to Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon or follow the marked trails leading toward the canyon.

Biking
If you have a bicycle, start at the Escalante Visitor Center on Highway 12. Head east on Highway 12 for about 5 miles. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the trailhead for Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon. You'll see a dirt road on your right leading into the canyon area. Turn onto this road and bike until you reach the parking area. From there, you can walk the short trail into the canyon.

Hiking
For those who enjoy hiking, start from the Escalante River Trailhead, which is located just off Highway 12. Follow the trail along the river for approximately 3 miles until you reach the junction leading to Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon. Follow the trail markers to guide you into the canyon. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry plenty of water.
