Car
If you are already in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, start by heading towards the town of Dutch John. From the Flaming Gorge Dam, take the UT-43 north towards Dutch John. Follow UT-43 for about 16 miles until you reach the junction with Forest Road 695. Turn onto Forest Road 695 and continue for about 1 mile. The Dutch John Draw Group Campground will be on your right, marked by a sign. Be aware that this road is unpaved in parts, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

Public transportation options are limited in this remote area. However, there are shuttle services available from nearby towns like Vernal or Rock Springs. You can book a shuttle in advance to Dutch John. Confirm with the service provider that they can drop you off at the Dutch John Draw Group Campground, as most services may only take you to the town of Dutch John. Once in Dutch John, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the campground.
