If you're driving from the Flaming Gorge Dam area, head east on UT-43 for about 12 miles. After approximately 12 miles, turn left onto Mustang Ridge Campground Rd. Follow the signs for the campground. The campground will be on your right after about 2 miles.

While public transportation options are limited in Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, you can take a bus to Dutch John from nearby towns. Once in Dutch John, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Mustang Ridge Campground, which is about 5 miles from the town center.
