From the center of Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, head southeast on US-191 S towards Dutch John. Continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with UT-44. Turn right onto UT-44 and follow it for about 5 miles. Look for signs for Mustang Ridge Campground, then turn left onto Mustang Ridge Campground Rd. The campground will be on your right after about 1 mile.

If you are relying on public transit, consider taking a Greyhound or another bus service to the nearest town, which is Vernal. From Vernal, you would need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to Dutch John, which is approximately 35 miles away. Once in Dutch John, follow the directions provided for car travel from the center of Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area to Mustang Ridge Campground.
