Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Head east on Scenic Byway 12 (SR-12) and continue for approximately 14 miles until you reach the signed turnoff for the Hickman Natural Bridge Trailhead, which is located on the left. Turn onto the dirt road and follow it for about 1 mile to the parking area. There is no fee for parking at the trailhead.

Public Transportation + Hiking
For those relying on public transportation, you may need to first get to the nearest town, which is Escalante, Utah. From there, you can arrange for a local shuttle service or taxi to take you to the Hickman Natural Bridge Trailhead. Ensure you book this in advance as services may be limited. Once you arrive at the trailhead, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 miles to reach Hickman Natural Bridge. The trail is moderately easy, but make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water.

If you prefer biking, you can cycle from Escalante to the Hickman Natural Bridge Trailhead. The ride is approximately 14 miles along Scenic Byway 12, which offers beautiful views but can have heavy traffic. Once you reach the trailhead, there is a parking area where you can secure your bike while you hike to the bridge.
