From the center of Mt Carmel, head east on US-89. Continue walking for about 5 miles. You will pass through scenic views of the desert landscape. Keep an eye out for the Red Canyon sign on your left. Once you see the sign, cross the highway carefully and follow the dirt path leading into the canyon. The trailhead for the Peek-a-boo trail will be marked, and you can start your hike from there.

If you have a bike, start at the Mt Carmel Visitor Center. Take the bike path heading east towards US-89. Once you reach the highway, turn left and continue biking for about 5 miles. Look for the Red Canyon sign on your left. Turn into the canyon, and you will find the trailhead for the Peek-a-boo trail at the entrance of the canyon.

While there is no direct public transport to Red Canyon, you can take a shuttle or find a local guide service from Mt Carmel to Kanab.
