From the center of San Rafael Swell, take UT-24 East towards Green River. Continue on UT-24 for approximately 18 miles. Look for a sign for Black Dragon Canyon Viewpoint on the right side of the road. Turn right onto the dirt access road. Drive carefully as the road may be bumpy and unpaved. After about 1 mile, you will arrive at the viewpoint parking area. There is no entry fee for the viewpoint.
