Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on I-15 from Salt Lake City or north from Moab. Take exit 160 for I-70 E toward Denver. Continue on I-70 E for about 40 miles until you reach exit 149 for UT-24 S toward Hanksville. After about 15 miles, turn left onto UT-24 S. Continue on UT-24 S for approximately 18 miles, and then turn right onto Buckhorn Draw Road. Follow Buckhorn Draw Road for about 5 miles. You will see signs for the Buckhorn Wash Pictograph Panel, which will be located on your right. There is no fee for parking.

Public transportation options are limited in this remote area of Utah. Your best option is to take a Greyhound bus or other regional bus service to the nearest town, which is Green River, Utah. From Green River, you will need to rent a car or arrange for a local taxi service to Buckhorn Wash Pictograph Panel. The distance from Green River to the panel is about 30 miles. Be sure to check the availability and operating hours of local taxi services in advance, as they may not be readily available.
