Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the Registan Square, a central and popular landmark in Samarkand. From Registan Square, head southeast on Shahrisabz Street (Шаҳрисабз кўчаси) towards the Bibi-Khanym Mosque. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Samarkand-Bukhara Highway (A-373). Cross the highway carefully, and you will see a sign for Konigil. Continue walking along the road for approximately 3 kilometers, enjoying the local scenery. As you approach the village, look for signs indicating 'Tourist village - Konigil' and follow them until you reach the entrance.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Make your way to the nearest bus stop from your location. The bus stop at Registan Square is a good starting point. Take bus number 5 or 12, which head towards the outskirts of Samarkand. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the stop for Konigil. The bus ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Once you disembark, you may need to walk for about 10-15 minutes following the main road signs that direct you towards the Tourist village - Konigil.

• Shared Taxi

  Head to one of the shared taxi stands in Samarkand, such as the one near the Registan Square or the Central Market. Look for taxis heading towards Konigil. These taxis often carry multiple passengers, so be prepared for a short wait until the vehicle fills up. The drive to Konigil should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the entrance of the Tourist village - Konigil.
