Once you see the signs, exit the highway and follow the signs to the historical site. You may need to park in designated areas nearby, which could incur a small parking fee.

To reach Shah-i-Zinda using public transportation, first take a shared taxi or a bus from your location in the Zarafshan Range to Samarkand. Shared taxis usually leave from designated taxi stands and should cost around 30,000 to 50,000 UZS per person. Once in Samarkand, you can take local transport such as a minibus or a taxi directly to Shah-i-Zinda. The local transport should cost approximately 5,000 to 15,000 UZS. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Shah-i-Zinda.
