Walking
From the entrance of the Apostolic Palace, exit onto the main street. Head northwest towards Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Corridori. Turn left onto Via dei Corridori and follow it until you reach the large square at the end, which is Piazza San Pietro. From here, head towards the left side of the square where you will find the entrance to Via della Stazione di San Pietro. Follow this road until you reach the end of Via della Stazione di San Pietro. Turn right onto Viale di Valle Aurelia and continue straight. Keep going until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Cavalleggeri. Turn left and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Lungara. Turn right, and follow this road for about 15 minutes until you see signs for Piazza Barberini. Continue straight and you will arrive at Piazza Barberini.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Apostolic Palace, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Piazza San Pietro. Board the bus number 40 in the direction of Stazione Termini. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes. After 10 stops, get off at the 'Barberini' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Piazza Barberini; simply follow the signs directing you to the plaza.
