    From the Sistine Chapel, exit and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, turn left and walk along Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout (Piazza del Risorgimento). Cross the street at the pedestrian crossing to get to the other side of the roundabout. From there, head straight onto Via Cola di Rienzo. Continue walking until you reach Castel Sant'Angelo. Once at Castel Sant'Angelo, turn left and walk along the riverbank of the Tiber River, following the path leading to Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. After a short walk, turn right onto Piazza Navona, which will lead you to the busy streets of Rome. From Piazza Navona, continue straight onto Via di Santa Maria dell'Anima, then turn left onto Via della Pace, which will lead you directly to Piazza della Trinità dei Monti. The Trinità dei Monti will be visible at the top of the Spanish Steps.

    Alternatively, you can walk from the Sistine Chapel to the Spanish Steps. Exit the chapel, head towards the Vatican Museums exit, and turn right. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica and continue walking until you reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Cross the road and continue straight until you reach the bustling area of Piazza Navona. From there, head towards Via del Corso and follow the signs leading to the Spanish Steps. Ascend the steps to reach Trinità dei Monti, located at the top.
