Walking
Exit St. Peter's Basilica through the main entrance where you entered. Once outside, head straight towards the large open square, known as St. Peter's Square. Walk across the square towards the colonnade and exit through the archway leading to Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight along Via della Conciliazione for about 800 meters until you reach the Tiber River. Turn left and follow the riverbank for approximately 1 kilometer. As you approach the bridge, look for the signs directing you to the historic center of Rome. Cross the bridge (Ponte Fabricio) and continue straight onto Via di San Gregorio. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Via del Teatro di Marcello. Turn right onto Via del Teatro di Marcello, and you will find the Teatro di Marcello on your left.

Walking
From St. Peter's Basilica, exit through the main entrance and walk towards St. Peter's Square. Once in the square, look for the exit leading to Via della Conciliazione. Turn left and continue down Via della Conciliazione until you reach the intersection with Via dei Fori Imperiali. Turn right onto Via dei Fori Imperiali, which will eventually lead you directly towards the Roman Forum and the historic sites of Rome. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Teatro di Marcello, where you will find the Teatro di Marcello.

After exiting St. Peter's Basilica, head towards the right side of St. Peter's Square. Walk along Via della Conciliazione until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Castello. Turn left onto Via di Porta Castello and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via dei Banchi Vecchi. Turn right and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Teatro di Marcello. The Teatro di Marcello will be on your right.
