    From St. Peter's Square, exit the square through the main entrance facing the Basilica. As you step out, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight along this road, enjoying the view of the Tiber River on your left. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Ponte Sisto bridge. Cross the bridge to get to the Trastevere area.
