From the main entrance of the Vatican Gardens, head towards the exit gates. As you exit, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo (the bridge). Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Continue straight, and then turn right onto Via di San Giovanni dei Fiorentini. Follow this road as it curves and leads you to Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta. The attraction, Buco della serratura dell’Ordine di Malta, will be on your left at number 4.

From the Vatican Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the entrance gates. Take bus number 64 towards Termini. Get off at the stop 'Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina.' From there, walk straight down Via di Montecitorio, then turn right onto Via di Campo Marzio. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi, then right onto Via di San Giovanni dei Fiorentini. Continue until you reach Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta, where the attraction will be on your left at number 4.

If you are at the Vatican Museums, exit the Museums and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican City. Once outside, walk straight down Via di Porta Angelica. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross over to the other side of the street and continue walking straight until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo. After crossing, walk straight and turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Continue straight until you reach Via di San Giovanni dei Fiorentini. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta, where the attraction is located.
