Walking
From the entrance of the Vatican Gardens, exit towards Viale Vaticano. Once you reach Viale Vaticano, turn left and walk straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). Continue through the square towards the main road, Via della Conciliazione. Cross the street, keeping the Vatican on your left. Walk straight on Via della Conciliazione until you reach the intersection with Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Turn left onto Via di San Giovanni in Laterano and continue walking until you reach Piazza del Gesù. The Chiesa del Gesù will be located right in the square.

If you are entering from the Vatican Museums, after visiting the museums, exit through the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and head towards Viale Vaticano. Walk straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). From there, follow the same directions as above: continue on Via della Conciliazione, crossing the street to reach Via di San Giovanni in Laterano, then turn left and proceed to Piazza del Gesù.
