Walking
To get to Piazza d'Aracoeli from the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once outside, you will see Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square) ahead of you. Walk straight through the square, passing the fountains and the grand colonnades. At the end of the square, follow the road to your left (Via della Conciliazione) and continue walking. After several minutes, you will reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo (Saint Angel Bridge). Once across, you will find yourself at the Castel Sant'Angelo. From there, continue straight onto Via di Ponte Sant'Angelo and then turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Follow this road until you reach Piazza Navona. From Piazza Navona, head southeast on Piazza Navona towards Via dei Coronari. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina and turn left. Continue on this road until you reach Piazza d'Aracoeli, where you will find your destination at number 16.
