Once outside, turn left onto Viale Vaticano and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Cross the street carefully, continuing straight onto Via di Porta Angelica. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Turn right onto Via della Conciliazione and continue walking until you reach the Castel Sant'Angelo. From there, head towards the pedestrian area and continue to Via Ludovisi. It will be a straight walk and should take about 30 minutes.

    After exiting the Vatican Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop on Viale Vaticano. Take bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. Ride for about 8 stops and get off at 'Via Ludovisi'.
