From the Vatican Necropolis, exit the site and head towards the main area of St. Peter's Basilica. Once you are outside the Necropolis, make your way towards the grand entrance of St. Peter's Basilica, which is directly in front of you. As you approach the basilica, you will notice the large square, Piazza San Pietro. Walk across the square towards the right side of the basilica, keeping the basilica to your left.
