Walking
From the entrance of Vatican Necropolis, head east towards the Via della Conciliazione. Walk along the street until you reach the large square in front of St. Peter's Basilica. Continue straight ahead and exit the square through the main entrance. Once outside, turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica and follow the road until it intersects with Via del Mascherino. Turn right onto Via del Mascherino, and then take the first left onto Via Piave. The Sacred Heart of Jesus church will be on your right at Via Piave, 5.

Walking
If you are near the Castel Sant'Angelo, exit the castle and head towards the bridge, crossing over the Tiber River. Once across the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the Tiber River promenade. Continue walking straight until you reach Via della Conciliazione. Once you hit the road, turn right and walk towards St. Peter’s Basilica. Follow the earlier directions from St. Peter's Basilica.

From Vatican Necropolis, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza San Pietro. Take bus number 64 in the direction of Stazione Termini. Get off at the stop called Via del Tritone. From there, walk straight down Via del Tritone, and take a left onto Via Piave. The Sacred Heart of Jesus church will be on your right.
