    If you're near Hoan Kiem Lake, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 32 towards Cau Giay. Get off at the 'Cau Long Bien' stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes straight along Tran Nhat Duat street until you reach the intersection with Thanh Niên street. Turn left onto Thanh Niên street and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will see Chùa Trấn Quốc on your right, located on the banks of West Lake.

    If you are staying in the Old Quarter, you can walk to Chùa Trấn Quốc. Start from Hoan Kiem Lake and walk northwest towards Hang Khay Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Tran Nhat Duat street. From there, turn left and head towards Thanh Niên street. Walk along Thanh Niên street for about 15 minutes, and you will find Chùa Trấn Quốc on your right, beautifully situated by West Lake.

  • Taxi (metered)

    If you prefer to take a taxi, you can hail a metered taxi from your location. Simply tell the driver 'Chùa Trấn Quốc' or show them the address: 'Chùa Trấn Quốc, Đ. Thanh Niên, Yên Phụ, Tây Hồ'. The driver will take you directly to the pagoda. The journey usually takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
