After reaching the intersection near the town of Bo Trach, follow the signs directing you to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Turn onto Provincial Road 20 and continue for about 10 kilometers until you see the entrance to Dark Cave. Be mindful that parking facilities are available at the site.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha (buses run frequently and cost around 50,000 VND). Upon arrival at Phong Nha, you can hire a taxi or a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to take you to Dark Cave, which is about 5 kilometers away. The taxi fare should range between 50,000 to 100,000 VND depending on negotiation.
