If you are driving from anywhere within the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, head towards the nearest major road, which is US Route 17. From there, take the exit onto I-664 S toward Chesapeake. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 13 for US-460 E toward Suffolk. Continue on US-460 E for about 5 miles, then take the exit for Deep Creek Blvd. Turn left onto Deep Creek Blvd and continue for about 2 miles until you reach Luray St. Turn right onto Luray St, and Deep Creek Lock Park will be on your left at 300 Luray St, Chesapeake, VA 23323.

If you are using public transportation, you will need to first get to a nearby transit hub. From the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, take a local bus or arrange for a taxi to reach the nearest city bus stop in Suffolk, VA. From there, take the Hampton Roads Transit bus route 960 toward Chesapeake. Once you reach the Deep Creek area, disembark at the closest stop to Luray St. You may need to walk approximately half a mile to reach Deep Creek Lock Park at 300 Luray St, Chesapeake, VA 23323. Be sure to check the bus schedule for times and any potential transfers.
