Car
If you're starting from within Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, head east on Refuge Road toward US-17. Turn left onto US-17 and continue for about 8 miles. Then, turn right onto I-264 E and follow for approximately 3 miles. Take exit 7B for VA-164 toward Portsmouth. Merge onto VA-164 and continue for about 3 miles. Take the exit toward Victory Blvd/US-58 and turn right onto Victory Blvd. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Giant Cement Dr. Paradise Creek will be on your right. There is no fee to park in public areas.

From the nearest bus stop within the Refuge, take the local transit bus heading towards Portsmouth. Depending on the schedule, you may need to transfer at the main bus terminal in Portsmouth. Once in Portsmouth, take bus route #10 which goes towards Victory Blvd and get off at the stop near Giant Cement Dr. Walk approximately 0.5 miles down Giant Cement Dr to reach Paradise Creek. Note that public transportation might have limited schedules, especially on weekends.
