Car
From the center of Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, head southwest on VA-16 S. Continue on VA-16 S for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with US-58 W. Turn left onto US-58 W and continue for about 7 miles. Take a slight right onto VA-600 S (Grayson Highlands Road) and follow it for about 5 miles. You will reach the Grayson Highlands State Park entrance. There is a parking fee of $5 for day use, which can be paid at the entrance station.

If traveling by public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or a regional bus service to the nearest town, which is Wytheville, VA. From Wytheville, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Grayson Highlands State Park, which is approximately 40 miles away. Be sure to check the availability of rideshare services in the area, as they may vary. The estimated taxi fare from Wytheville to Grayson Highlands is around $60-$80.
